Paula Radcliffe was questioned on her record a few years back and responded by publishing every test and all data that had ever been collected on her. Consequently there are no questions at all for her left to answer and she is regarded as clean as a whistle.
Unfortunately, Mo responded to such accusations by staying schtum and fucking off to America in the company of a coach and training partner who are a byword in drugs cheating. Sadly for him, the press have every right to continue questioning him whether he is guilty or not.
Michael Johnson gets it, as his carefully considered answer to Gabby Logan's questions showed. He is right, post-Lance Armstrong, 'I've never tested positive' isn't enough.

I understood Bolt had suffered some injuries since Rio and hadn't really been racing on a full training schedule.
The impression I got that apart from the money he got for running for another year he partly wanted to finish here to thank the London fans.

LB - That's exactly what I noticed. I reckon he was carrying at least half a stone above his fighting weight.

London 2017 was clearly a meet too far for Bolt and a fitting end of track activity for Mo.
They have had their day, milked their talent for all it's worth and leave nothing undone on the track. Good luck to them they have both garnered a haul of gold medals for world and Olympic performances that will be unmatched, on the track, for years if at all.
As for last night's relay we won it fair and square no ifs and buts.

Ricky, I said possibly could have won it, honestly pause that BBC link exactly at 33 seconds, which is when he pulled up, he was one yard behind the Yank and maybe two behind the Brit, 50 yards to go, a top Bolt could have made that up
Oh and I'm not belittling the Brits performance, it was out of this world and well deserved

Alternatively, explain why you think a stagger needs to be factored into an element of a race where the competitors were 50m down the final straight, with all bends completed and no longer a relevant factor.
